1. Risk Statement

Born Adventurers Festival acknowledges that some of the activities offered are physically demanding and may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, trips, falls, and exposure to natural elements. The festival operates on a green field site with potentially uneven terrain and varying weather conditions, which may create additional hazards.

While we strive to maintain the highest safety standards and ensure that all activities are managed professionally, Born Adventurers Festival is not responsible for any injury or damage to personal property. Participation in activities is at your own risk.

This document outlines the responsibilities of Born Adventurers Festival, its customers, and parents/carers.

2. Responsibilities

2.1 Born Adventurers Festival Responsibilities

  • Provide a well-planned and managed event, ensuring risks to attendees, staff, and volunteers are minimised.

  • Review risk assessments, operating procedures, and safety checks from activity providers before and during the event.

  • Regularly monitor compliance with safety procedures and conduct on-site safety checks.

  • Ensure that appropriate trained personnel are present for all managed activities.

2.2 Customer Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and adhere to all festival site rules, including those communicated via signage, digital platforms, or verbal instruction.

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by activity operators and festival staff.

  • Assess personal fitness and medical conditions before participating in any activities.

  • Avoid engaging in any activity while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or other substances.

  • Acknowledge and accept the inherent risks of participation in festival activities.

  • Take responsibility for personal safety and the security of personal belongings.

  • Declare any medical conditions that may affect their ability to safely participate in activities.

2.3 Parent/Carer Responsibilities

  • Parents and carers remain responsible for their children at all times while on-site.

  • Assess the capability and suitability of their children before allowing them to participate in activities.

3. Disclaimer

Attendees acknowledge that they are responsible for their own safety and personal possessions while participating in festival activities. Born Adventurers Festival is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury except in cases of death or personal injury caused by the festival’s negligence.

4. General Information

These terms and conditions govern ticket purchases, entry conditions, and festival participation. By purchasing a ticket, attendees agree to abide by these terms. Born Adventurers Festival reserves the right to amend these terms from time to time.

Tickets are personal and non-transferable. The festival reserves the right to change any aspect of the event without notice or refund.

4.1 Event Details

  • Dates: 25-27th Jule 2025

  • Opening and closing times: Gates are open Friday 25th July: 15:00-21:00 and Sat/Sun: 08:00-21:00.

  • E-tickets will be issued ahead of the event. Ticket confirmation is provided at the time of purchase.

Failure to comply with these terms may result in ticket cancellation, refused entry, or removal from the festival site without refund.

5. Personal Safety and Responsibility

The festival takes place in a natural environment, and attendees should take reasonable care for their safety and that of their families.

6. Tickets & Pricing

  • Tickets are sold at published prices and subject to availability.

  • Official ticketing provider: Weezevent

  • Booking fees and transaction costs are non-refundable.

  • Tickets must be purchased in the correct category (Adult, Teen, Child, etc.) and attendees must provide accurate details.

6.1 Refunds & Cancellation

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable except where specified.

  • If the festival is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, tickets may be transferred to a future event.

  • No refunds will be issued for changes in programme or lineup.

7. Vehicles and Parking

  • Vehicles require a parking or campervan pass.

  • Exit and re-entry policies apply to vehicles.

  • Campervans are permitted in designated areas only.

8. Accessibility

  • Free Personal Assistant (PA) tickets are available for eligible attendees.

  • Accessible camping options are available upon request.

9. Festival Rules

  • No pets allowed (except registered service animals).

  • No glass permitted on site.

  • Alcohol limits apply per person, and no outside alcohol is permitted in the arena.

  • Smoking and vaping are restricted to designated areas.

  • No unauthorised PA systems, projectors, or generators.

  • Drones are prohibited.

  • Fires are permitted only in designated areas and must be managed responsibly.

  • The festival has a zero-tolerance policy on illegal substances and anti-social behaviour.

10. Health & Communicable Disease Policy

  • Attendees must not attend if they have tested positive for a communicable disease or are required to self-isolate.

  • The festival reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone displaying symptoms of illness.

  • Attendees agree to adhere to all health and safety measures implemented by the festival.

11. Promotional Codes & Discounts

  • Promotional offers are at the festival’s discretion and cannot be applied retrospectively.

12. Photography & Media

  • Photographers and videographers will be capturing images and recordings throughout the festival.

  • Attendees consent to their likeness being used for promotional purposes.

13. Data Protection

  • Attendee data is handled in accordance with GDPR and our Privacy Policy.

  • Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.

14. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by English law. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.

By attending Born Adventurers Festival, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
